Early November in 2012 i recieved a phone call from a lady who works for Vodacom. She had all my details with her and just wanted me to confirm, she told me that Vodacom wanted to thank me as i was a loyal and good customer. She further said since i was a valuable customer to Vodacom it has decided to offer me free airtime for R95 for twelve months as an appreciation. I asked told her that the offer was too good to be true but she insisted that it was for real. I recieved the airtym as the lady has said over the phone but was surprised after a few months i noticed that there was a deduction of R185.33. I phoned Vodacom to complain of the matter they took me from pillar to post but eventually someone told me to go do an affidavid. I did do an affidavid on 07/08/2013 and faxed it through to them with my ID. They later phoned me and told me that since they are still beezi with their investigations they will soft lock the phone which is a prepaid by the way and then my phone stopped working completly i had to go buy a new sim and a new phone as the one that i had was not working. I am surprised to date that they still deduct money even if they are running investigations.
