Wrong cell number on contract

Good day

On Friday the 22nd of March I applied for a Vodacom contract for the iPhone 5. I told Suresh that I wanted to keep my prepaid number and had entered it onto the contract I gave him. Later that day I collected the phone and discovered that I had a new number. I went in on Monday the 25th of March & told him I wanted to use my prepaid number. He said he would sort it out as the contract had not been sent to Vodacom yet. I phoned him on the Wedneday or Thursday & was told he was off for the day. The lady who answered said she would ask him to phone me the next day. No-one called me. I then phoned him again & he said he was struggling to get through to Vodacom. I called him again on Tuesday or Wednesday & he said he kept having to hold on to Vodacom for ages but that he would get back to me later the same day. He did not. I have now phoned for him once more & he is off again.
I want this sorted out or I want to cancel the contract and return the phone. I need to keep my original telephone number. I am not amused by the bad service & rush around I am receiving. This is now 2 weeks of having my time wasted.
