Hi

My name is Khomneini Ntsukunyane I currently have a contract with Vodacom on the number (0768126362). Today I walked into the Loch Logan Waterfront Branch in Bloemfontein to enquire about an upgrade only to find that there was already an upgrade in process on my account that was done for a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The status was showing "Back Order Placed"
My concern is that I have no knowledge of this upgrade as I have not given anyone consent to do a quote on my behalf. I spoke to Shannon in the branch who was trying help me with this query and she informed that this was an online upgrade, I informed her that I did not know about it and she called customer care and she was advised to call a company called Interactive Technologies on (011) 375 3600 and she spoke to Kagiso who advised that this quote will be cancelled in 2 days.

I have been a Vodacom customer for a long time and I do not understand how this company got the details of my account and initiated a quote. May you please answer my questions below.

1.Was a credit check done as this requires my consent?
2. Does Interactive Technologies have my bank details and identity number?
3.How did Vodacom divulge my account
