I PHONED VODACOM TO CANCEL MY CONTRACT, AND TOLD THE GUY THAT I FOUND A BETTER DEAL AT MTN. THE DEAL I SAW WAS A SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 FOR R229. THEN THE CONSULTANT TOLD ME TO LET HIM SEE WHAT DEAL HE CAN DO FOR ME.
I GLADLY WAITED. HE THEN CAME BACK AND SAID HE CAN GET ME THE SAME PHONE FOR R249 ON A SMART S CONTRACT. I TOLD HIM, ITS R229 AT MTN. HE SAID OK, HE WILL ADD AN EXTRA 100MG OF DATA FOR THE 24 MONTH CONTRACT. I AGREED TO DO THE UPGRADE. TODAY 10/10/13, I RECEIVE THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S III MINI PHONE WHICH WAS NOT WHAT WAS OFFERED TO ME. THIS WAS THE WRONG PHONE. I CALLED VODACOM TO TELL THEM THE ERROR.
THE GUY GEORGE, TELLS ME, THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S III IS DISCONTINUED. I SAID HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE WHEN NOT EVEN 2 DAYS AGO THE GUY GAVE ME THIS DEAL? AFTER A LONG CONVERSATION ARGUING WITH HIM, HE TOLD ME, OK WE CAN GIVE YOU THE S4 FOR THE SAME PRICE, I TOLD HIM NOT THE MINI AGAIN. HE SAID NO, THE PROPER S4. NOW HE CALLS AND ME OFF EVEN MORE AND SAYS NO HE CANT DO THAT DEAL, AFTER SPEAKING TO HIS SUPERIORS. ALL THEY CAN DO IS PUT MY CONTRACT TO HOW IT WAS AND I CAN CANCEL.
