Since I am able to upgrade, I checked out the new booklet (10-31 January 2013) and see a great deal on the Galaxy S2 for only R189 pm including 150MB data per month for 24 months. I phoned the Oudtshoorn branch on Saturday (12th of January 2013) to place an order for my phone. I waited and no reply came back. I phoned again today and they told me they were out of stock. I then phoned head office - who told me it was discontinued and that I should rather take the S3 Mini (which is a much worse phone) for R229 pm. I was really disgusted!!!
Why do you advertise a phone and two days after the special its not available. There was no note saying that 'while stocks lasts' on the Galaxy S2 so everyone wanting it, would expect it to be available. Really, really bad service MTN! I would suggest you do something - and do something QUICK to solve this problem or else you would loose A LOT of good clients. I have been with this network for over 8 years now - having a contract now for almost 2 years. This is my first upgrade and I am TERRIBLE dissapointed.
