I have been phoning Cell C for the past few months and emailing their customer service, with no resolve. Cell C has been billing me R70 extra for the past few months for a mistake that they had made. With the upgrade of my contract I changed my banking details and my address. Cell C did not change it and when my debit order did not go through they charged me. This has been going on for the past 3 months even though they have changed my banking details now. I also have not been receiving any statements at my current address.
I feel that I should not be held liable for the extra costs that I had to pay this past 3 months. When I requested a copy of my contract, on which it states my new banking details and address, Cell C did not respond and until today I still have not received a copy of my contract. After numerous calls it's clear that Cell C does not want to reimburse me for the extra costs that I had to pay for a mistake on their side. They keep trying to shift the blame, even though all information was clearly indicated on my upgraded contract.
Cell C should own up and I should not be the one running around trying to resolve the mistake that they had made.
