When I signed up for a (Red Bull Mobile) cell C contract in October 2010, there were different spaces for residential and postal addresses. I filled in my POBox for postal address because that is what I have a post office box for. I didnt receive Cell C statements for two months and on enquiry, discovered that they were being sent to my residential address. I went and checked and together with all the other junk and fliers were the weather deteriorated cell C statements.
I then called Cell C and asked them to correct it but they wanted me to request a change of address. I refused to do this as it was a mistake on their side. I logged a complaint on hellopeter and my statements miraculously started coming to my POBox.
Now, over a year later, I didnt receive my cell C statement in my PObox again so I checked my home mailbox and my cell statement was there. I cannot figure out what is so complicated about using a postal address.
There are also lots of other things wrong with cell C as evidenced by this last statement being printed on an up-side-down "Diners-Club" letterhead but I have gotten used to many of these kind of sub-standard practices from cell C. 5 months to contract end...
