Wrongly Declined Contract

I went to cell c branch last week to app, y for a new phone contract. I filled in all the forms, the assistant phoned through to verify my documents (i'm a non South African) and they said everything was fine if i provided a credit record, which i told them i have been on contract with MTN since 2005. They asked me to bring my statement from MTN when i come to collect the phone, as it was not in stock. I received a call from cell c on Sunday morning saying that the phone was in stock that i should come whenever i could. I drove in on Monday afternoon, the person who helped me was not there. There were two guys who asked me a million questions as though i hadn't filled any forms yet. After all the ordeal of speaking and waiting, they pulled out my forms, had me sign on the pages and at the last step, the assistant phoned through to clear and someone who again had no insight to all that i had processed last week simply said the contract is declined. I am so by the inconsistency and how much of my time they wasted before denying me. I still have a contract on MTN, i just want to change from blackberry to samsung and i thought cell c had the best package so far.
