HOW VODACOM WENT FROM HERO TO ZERO

I notified Vodacom last year about my situation and stopped my Debit Order and then I said that the Payment will be paid on or roundabout the 5th. I am self -employed and for the past 2 months I have battled with collections. Vodacom was on top of things with communications and a promise to pay being put into place etc. So much so that I WAS RAVING ABOUT THEM, They were my hero because finally somebody understands what it means to be an entrepreneur. MY ZERO Moment, today my phone is disconnected and the agent says the Vodacom central centre does it. He also had a snotty attitudes saying you cannot make an arrangement unless by debit order. This arrangement has been in place for more than a year without a debit Order. He then said they contacted me on the 16th and the amount arranged for by cellphone for the 23rd was duly honoured by myself. Totally CONFUSED, INCONVENIENCED AND I CANNOT WAIT FOR JANUARY TO CANCEL THE CONTRACT AND USE ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER. I HATE SURPRISES
