Cannot trust "available minutes"

My available minutes showed more than 300 minutes available last month but I am getting charges for extra minutes used.
When I phoned them they say that the system hasn't been updated. That was last month.
This month shows 464 minutes available but when I phoned them they say I only have 100 odd minutes left.
I now have to pay around R300 in because I went over last month.
You cannot trust what the guy at the call center tells you or what is on your statement or what available minutes you have when sending AM to 31050.
The service is getting worse.
I am cancelling my wife's contract which is due next month and I am going to do the same with mine.
