Inability to migrate telkom line

In July I decided to move from my current ISP to Afrihost after hearing great feedback of them. The online process to create an account was an absolute pleasure, and I had my data account up and running within minutes. At the same time, I had requested to migrate my ADSL line across to Afrihost too (again based on a referral). I had to give Telkom 30days notice to cancel my existing do broadband data package, which completed 25 August. For the last month I have been pushed back and forth between Telkom and Afrihost with no-one communicating the same thing (Afrihost says they will migrate this, and the line must not be cancelled; Telkom says I need to cancel the line there is no such thing to migrate or release).

Surely if this is the service that Afrihost provides, they should be able to manage this. I have done exactly what was asked and cancelled my Telkom data service, but still have got no help in trying to move the line across. After waiting 20mins for callcentre support to answer, I have given up.
