In January 2012 I signed up an MTN Uncapped 'lite' 3G Broadband contract with Autopage Cellular. Besides the financial side of the contract, the stated terms of their service to me were: "As from 01 Feb 2012, MTN will enhance the fair use policy so customers can enjoy higher speeds after reaching the fair use cap. This means that once they have used 3GB or 10GB of internet, their connection speed will be limited to up to 256kbps for MTN Uncapped Lite and 384kbps for MTN Uncapped Internet Pro for the remainder of their billing month."
This very clearly tells me that the First 3gigs is at 3G-speed (HSDPA in this case) and the ballance is throttled to 256kbps - I have not been able to operate anywhere close to the 256kpbs during the first 3-gigs of data and have struggled to get to 10kbps at all the other times.
I have complained on numerous occasions but nobody has dealt with this in almost 2-YEARS!!!
This is unacceptable.
