Numerous issues regarding Blackberry Bold 9900

End of March this year I upgraded my mobile contract of many years and received a Blackberry Bold 9900. After just 3 months the track pad wasn't working properly anymore. While speaking to a friend she also complained about her phone and mentioned that she's aware of quite a few people experiencing problems with this particular phone. I went to MTN in Clearwater Mall where I did my upgrade and was sent to another shop within the mall without proper service. At the 2nd shop I didn't receive the service I deserved either and I walked out. Yesterday I struggled for 25 minutes to reply on a message as the phone's track pad is still not working properly and it was now also freezing at times and when you wanted to delete characters you will be typing "$" signs and even when not pressing any buttons the phone will just carry on typing "$". I stopped at MTN Clearwater Mall and I was told that this particular phone was discontinued due to numerous issues, but in the same breath the person told me that she's not aware of many people having issues with the phone. I had to hand in my phone for an assessment and now have to wait 7 working days to hear the outcome - without a phone!! Ridiculous!
