Poor/No Customer Service

I purchased a notebook in April 2013 and started experiencing problems with it last week. I took it back to the branch I bought it at and was told that Mtn cannot assist with repairs of laptops, I have to call HP and they will collect it from me. First of all the number supplied in the box does not work so I had to google and was given a few more numbers to try. After getting somewhere I was finally told that I had to take it in to Midrand myself or courier it, at my own expense!

The reason I bought it from a Mall close to me is so that it would be convenient for me to take it in whenever I had a problem. If this is the case they need to let us know when purchasing. If I was told this upfront I would definitely not have taken it. The staff are very freindly when you purchasing but when you need to have something repaired then the service and staff are appalling!!!
