I have been trying, unsuccessfully, for nearly a month to have Telkom install a line and convert it to ADSL so I could take out an account with Web Africa.
While Telkom has been going out of their way to demonstrate how their reputation of incompetence and laziness is well-deserved, Web Africa has been nothing but excellent the entire time. I've spoken to nearly a dozen of their staff and all have been friendly, sympathetic, knowledgeable of the problems with the line and whats impressive is that they have followed up every time they said they would. The contrast between their professionalism and Telkom's cant be overstated.
Just wanted to say I do appreciate the effort they have made so far!
