I am trying to cancel my Telkom Line. I have ADSL with another supplier. I called and was informed I could not cancel.
I am moving out in a month and was calling to give my months notice of cancellation. I have already given notice for ADSL. Telkom then informed me that I would have to call back in a month after the ADSL line is closed. This means
1. I have to sit on the line for another 20 minutes waiting to be assisted by Telkom
2. I will have to pay for the line for an additional month when I will not even be living in the house
3. I will have to make all the effort to cancel the line in a months time and CANNOT be assisted in ANY way at present (at least let me get the admin over with Telkom!)
I should be able to cancel when I want to, without delay and without complications I had no knowledge of. Telkom was no help whatsoever and now I have unresolved admin to deal with.
