My ADSL line has been with WebAfrica for several years now and I pay them line rental instead of to Telkom. Six months ago I moved house, meaning I had to transfer my line to Telkom for a period of time so as to have it installed at my new residence. Even though my line was not with WebAfrica for about two weeks they still charged me full line rental for the whole month. I tried to get a refund from them but gave up after exchanging numerous emails with their customer "support". The couple of hundred rand they overcharged me just wasn't worth the hassle.
Last month I moved again and had my line transferred to Telkom for a period of just over a month, yet again, WebAfrica charged me full line rental for the month, which I had to pay to Telkom as well! After exchanging fifty or sixty emails (! ) with their support department they still refuse to credit me for the line rental, which service they are not even supplying! To add insult to injury they arbitrarily closed the ticket even though the issue was not resolved. They clearly couldn't care less about their customers :(
To WebAfrica "support"; don't even bother replying to this post as I am not interested in your excuses any more.
