Best ADSL provider in South Africa

Web Africa rocks.

Last year, my ADSL line performance degraded because of exchange congestion. Telkom refused to promise any time frame for resolution, stating that they wouldn't upgrade the exchange until it was commercially viable for them to do so.

I complained to WebAfrica about this, and they said they'd stop charging me for the line rental until the issue was resolved. That was pretty awesome.

Then my line developed a fault. Telkom refused to investigate because they had an open ticket on my exchange. So I was left with no option but to cancel and go with a wireless provider. WebAfrica waived the cancellation period for me, and allowed immediate termination, to save me a month's bandwidth fees. More awesome. You have to respect a company that treats you like a valued customer even as you're leaving.

The exchange congestion has finally been resolved, and so I'm thrilled to be returning to WebAfrica as a customer. Just spoke to Emraan with a few questions about my order, and got prompt, knowledgeable feedback as always.
