Judgement gone awry

I have a judgement on my name on ITC for my badly managed Virgin Mobile account. The Judgement was loaded last year, one month after I was made aware of the judgement I paid this account up in full. Kollekt who is dealing with my collection from Virgin mobile had informed us that they could get the listing rescinded and sent us the paid up letter from Virgin Mobile. NOW however I have been informed that our file at the courts has mysteriously GONE MISSING?!?!?!?! I understand that this is no fault of Virgin mobile, but what I cant understand is why we have to wait approx 3 more months for the process of getting a new file together so that this listing can be removed?!? surely VIRGIN MOBILES legal department can request an update with ITC without us having to go through such a rigmarole. My wife had a bad car accident and now has no transport to get to work and back so the reason for the listing to be removed is an amicable one and not to just cause waves! if someone could get back to me with a way forward it would be much appreciated.
