6th time this year phone lines are down

For the sixth time this year our phone lines are out of order. Telkom seems unwilling to find a long term solution to this problem. There is an alternative called Spacestream; however Telkom wants us to pay an additional R1000 per month for the 'rental' of their equipment. They will not allow us to purchase this equipment.
