Wow, what an evening laced with horrible client experiences. I called the 3G store in Canal Walk to ask if they had an IPad MINI 16G. My call was taken by Johan who confirmed they had one In white. This after having checked their stock room. After driving all the way there, I was told they only had an IPad (big one, not the mini) and he (Johan) thought I meant the big one. I then went to the V&A Waterfront and called ahead (again). I spoke to Timothy at Cellucity (which I believe is owned by the same person as the Vodashop in the V&A). Again, he confirmed they had the IPad Mini 16G in white. Went to the store, spent 15 minutes waiting for Timothy only to be told they only had it in black when he eventually assisted me. I was then referred to the Vodashop where I spoke to a man (can't remember his name) at 20:50 and was told it would take too long to complete the contract since they close at 21:00. He suggested I come back tomorrow morning to complete the contract at 09:30.
I feel that all the staff working for Vodacom exhibit the same non-client centric behavior and are too happy to turn prospective clients away. Very disappointed but not surprised!!!
