I visited the iStore at Century City to buy an iPad Mini 64Gig (non-retina display) & was told that they had stock & what was my preferred colour? I was told to wait as only the store manager could authorize an iPad trade-in. After standing in front of the manager for 40 minutes (while waiting for her to finish assisting another customer) I complained to Paul von Mollendorf that this was a waste of time. Paul confirmed that they had stock & offered to transfer my iPad data to the iStore's computer from where he would then transfer it to the new iPad Mini.
I had now been in the store for over an hour. Paul returned to say that they had no stock. I then said I would settle for a 64 or 128Gig iPad Mini with retina screen only to be kept waiting another 20 minutes & then told that these were also out of stock.
Paul offered to phone the V & A Waterfront & Cavendish branches to source stock & promised to phone me by 10am the following morning.
I then asked the store manager that should stock not be available at these branches, she give me a letter to guarantee that I pay the same advertised price today. She refused.
Paul never phoned.
I still have no iPad Mini.
POOR SERVICE!
