Contract upgrade options

Called Vodacom to cancel contract (MTN data cheaper) - lovely lady Pinky persuaded me to change contract and dongle/ipad bundle and stay with Vodacom. They will deliver everything (great)- but now the mini-sim in ipad doesnt work adn after 6 calls (and one hang up) to technical and retentions department, they say I have to go into a store to reactivate the ipad mini-sim. why did they cancel it? why deliver the phone & make me go in store for another reason? Also really want a YELLO Lumina 1020 - why is there no stock? I am R1000 customer and so is my husband 0836595257... not great service!
