In April 2013, I was charged R43 361, on a 3G card linked to my account. This was ridiculously high and as the 3G card was not being used since I had a telkom ADSL line installed. I raised a query. In June 2013 a credit note of R35 297 was passed and I assumed the balance was still being investigated as it had taken a full month for the above to be. No-one was ever able to explain to me why the full amount was not reversed until recently when it came to light that Vodacom reverse about 80% but expect the customer to cover the 20% in these sorts of cases. I was also told that the billing system had doubled some charges. On Tues 3 Sept, I had to log another call to get the remaining R8064 investigated as I was told that the matter first investigated (above) had been closed. I was told I would have a response in 24 hours - nothing so far, just a disconnected line. No-one apologised either for the inconvenience that I have experienced.
I was not using this 3G card so for these charges to have been incurred by myself is impossible.
