I have absolutely had it with Telkom. It's just been one problem after the next since commencing my ADSL contract with them in December. I have today discovered that I have been paying for a 2meg line but am actually not on a 2meg as my exchange is only one meg. Then, I discover that instead of having an uncapped line as requested, I am actually on a 10gig line. On the 8th of April, after my last complaint I was contacted by a Melanie Engelbrecht and advised that a credit of R1378.40 excl would be passed for incorrect billing. I have today found that I only have a R75 credit remaining after less than one month yet my monthly billing has (now proven as incorrect billing amount) been around R700 a month and I paid this in March so how can I now have a bill of R1300?!?!?!? I'm being shafted and I'm not accepting this from Telkom anymore. I demand answers from the highest level possible and I expect a full credit for the difference in incorrect billing. I've gone without service twice in April due to failed infrastructure and now I must pay for both service and over billing??? No way!!! My ADSL line number is: 0116792178. I await feedback...
