Vodacom
PHONE UPGRADE

I got a call from Vodacom Head Office to upgrade my sister's phone about a week and a half ago (around 21 Aug 2013). I was also informed that I wouldn't have to pay the usual admin cost; and that the conversion to a smart chip card would also be gratis. Sadly, I later found out (from a Vodashop) that this is actually hogwash. These costs are actually added to one's account when the debit order is processed.

I called 086 123 6666 to cancel the deal. I was given a reference number 32295, and was told that the process would take 3 to 4 working days.
I called 082 1959 on Wednesday 28 Aug to find out whether the upgrade had been reversed, I was informed that Vodacom's Admin Dept had to be contacted and advised to reverse the dates and cancel the upgrade. They advised that this would be done by Monday, 2 Sept 2013. I have been trying to contact 0821959 since 3 Sept., to ascertain whether this has been done - to no avail.

CAN someone please help me, and cancel this upgrade???
I will upgrade the phone MYSELF via a Vodashop.
