Our call centre has a Diginet line managed by Nashua Communications. This line went down yesterday morning around 09:00 for about 10 minutes. Then it went down again at about 13:00 and is still down.
We have been unable to receive or make calls for more than 21 hours.
Apparently a Telkom engineer was supposed to come to us yesterday afternoon but decided it was too late so didn't bother turning up.
It is now past 10:15 am and for love nor money I cannot get an ETA on the repair.
All I am told is the fault has been assigned to a technician who is in a meeting(!) and no one knows when the meeting will end.
My grumble is that Nashua Communications are not applying more pressure on Telkom to deal with this urgently. I understand that Telkom are well outside their SLA with Nashua.
