I have a blackberry bold 9780 that has been replaced and fixed a total of 4 times in a 24 month period. I have 1 month warranty left over when it happend again. When I send it in the repair centre said they are not willing to replace it as on the phone it misses a small piece of the cover which came loose the 3rd time i got it back from MTN and it got lost somewhere. And because of that they will now charge me over R700 to fix it as I have now forfitted the left over 1 month of my warranty. That piece has got nothing to do with the working of the phone and is purely there for decoration.
I think that the history of the phone has got to speak for itself and want them to fix it no charge. The 1st time it happend the phone was not even 3 months old, the 2nd time 11 months etc..
I think this on their side and it is a easy way to make money from us.
