R1733, 06 charge for cell phone

I received a bill for R1733, 06 of which around R22 was for calls and R6 for sms's the rest was smartdata charge!!! I pay for bis as part of my contract so how can this be? I actually have less connections this month compared to previous months. my internet was throttled a few months ago and is so slow I doubt I could even download a song in less than an hour!!! So how is it possible to run up an amount like this by using Facebook, bbm, whatsapp, email and browsing??? My normal account is between R200-R300 a month depending on calls made. I hope this will be sorted out ASAP!!!
