I have been using the MTN Lite Deal for R299 for almost 2 years now. The last 4 months my download and browsing speeds come to a standstill after I have reached my 3GB usage. The contract states that I will get throttled, which is no big deal, because the stated speeds are useable. However its now so slow I cant even browse and sometimes I dont even have any signal. It was never like this untill about February this year where it just got worse. I understand being throttled and thats fine with me, but my friend that has the exact same contract as me, are already on the 70GB mark for the month, and he still receives good download speeds and signal. This I feel is unfair. Everyone should be treated the same. And atleast when I'm throttled I would expect the speeds to be acceptable.
I want this sorted or Im not continuing my contract when it expires next month. Also I will be moved to sue MTN for breach of contract when it comes to useable internet speeds.
I will also be forced to move my cellphone contracts which I have at MTN to Vodacom.
