Couple years ago we had taken out a contract with Nashua Mobile and they gave us an adsl modem.
The contract ended years ago and before taking the contract we had spoken to the sales rep who said that we should not worry about our modem being nashua locked that the JHB head office will gladly unlock it.
I gave the modem in last weekend (24/08/2013) today i get an sms from Shereen Hoosen saying that my modem is returned to the branch i had sent it in and is unrepaired.
I called the Branch's customer care and they said there is nothing they can do?
So just to all you potential customers out there... please do not take a nashua contract and let them promise you that they will unlock your adsl modem after, because when they can't unlock the software (which they install to lock it) - they then say theres nothing they can do!
So now i am stuck with a nashua locked modem that will NEVER work on my ADSL line... thank you NASHUA MOBILE... for wasting my money for years and now not even providing a solution to my current issue... thats customer care at their best!
