Sadly, you cannot write to Telkom. You can only phone them on that one number that is supposed to service all needs but actually just causes frustration. I planned, and did, leave SA end May 2013. I needed to cancel a number of services, Telkom being one of them. They have this awful system of having to select a service (automatic voice recognition) when you call. They do not answer if you select the 'want to disconnect service' option. It is exhausting continually phoning. On the one occasion I spoke to someone he advised I have to give exactly 30 days notice and I must phone back. I didn't get through. I have now left the country. I have written to them before through this forum (there is no other way), and they phoned and I explained. This has not stopped them continuing to invoice me for a service that is no longer there. I am no longer there. I have left the country. Please credit the amount as at end May and remove me from your records. I am not using your services, I do not expect to be invoiced for them. Please consider making it easier for your customers to communicate with you. An email address for customer service perhaps?
