I've been trying for 2 days to cancel my Telkom ISP account. They only provide customers with ONE method of cancelling services. Their call centre on 10210... I've been holding, waiting for a consultant to become available for a total of over 2.5 hours (on my mobile) to cancel this service.
I then tried another option on the 10210 service and tried to obtain an e-mail address via the billing enquiries department... the mail bounced immediately.
How is it possible that a large National company can only offer ONE method for customers to manage services? Seriously? This is the 21st century... why is there no option available on your messy & poorly designed website... and how in 's name do you expect customers to hold a line for 2.5 hours and still not get through to a consultant? As a paying consumer I demand the option to manage and cancel my services online - if you can not provide this option then you should not be in the ISP trade!
Telkom makes it quick and easy to sigh up for services - but does not give you the same options to terminate these services! But alas, I conclude Telkom seems to have no cancellation, PR or complaints departments!
