SHOCKING TAT'S - POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

WENT IN TO MTN GAME CITY TO UPGRADE ON OF MY LINES WHICH WAS OUT OF CONTRACT & REQUESTED A LAPTOP DEAL. I INITIALLY WAITED ALMOST 3 WEEKS FOR THE LAPTOP WHICH NEVER ARRIVED AS HEAD OFFICE DID NOT HAVE STOCK. EVENTUALLY HAD TO CHOSE A NEW LAPTOP DEAL WHICH WAS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE INITIAL DEAL BUT DUE MY DESPERATION AS MY LAPTOP WAS, I WAS LEFT WITH NO CHOICE. BUT NOW TO MAKE MATTERS WORST THE CONTRACT WAS ON A VOICE LINE WHICH NEEDS TO BE CONVERTED TO DATA SO THAT I CAN GET THE UPGRADE DONE WHICH WAS A 7 DAY PROCESS WHICH WAS LOGGED ON THE 14TH JANUARY & TO DATE IS STILL NOT RESOLVED. THE CONSULTANT (MANISHA) AT THE STORE HAS GONE OUT OF HER WAY TO TRY & ASSIST BY CALLING HEAD OFFICE DAILY TO SPEED UP THE PROCESS TO WHICH THE ONLY RESPONSE SHE GETS IS "ITS BEEN ESCALATED & THERE IS A MASSIVE BACKLOG". I ALSO CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE LINE & WAS GIVEN THE SAME STORY. I FIND THIS TO BE ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE & FEEL THAT MTN DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. CLEARLY FROM THE ESCALATIONS & QUERIES BY THE STORE & MYSELF THIS WAS A MATTER OF URGENCY SO THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN PRIORITISED & RESOLVED. THIS PETTY EXCUSE ABOUT BACKLOGS IS A STORY THAT IS TOO FAMILAR
