Day 11 and I have not received my laptop

On the 11 April 2013 I purchased/signed a contract for a Acer laptop including 1 gig of data for R299. The lady informed me that the laptop would arrive on Friday or Monday the following week as they did not have the product in stock (at the shop) and that they would call me when the stock arrives. On Monday 15 April 2013 in the afternoon I call the shop asking if the laptop has arrived and was informed that it hasnt arrived and that they would call when it does. On Wednesday I went to the only to find out that they had issues with getting the laptop due to delays from the supplier. Firstly why does MTN staff not call when they see that there is issues with the delivery of stock, now I am left wondering when I can go pick up the laptop.

I specifically chose to buy the laptop from MTN because of the convinience of being an existing customer but this transaction has been nothing but.
