On Thursday, 27/06/2013, I took in my Blackberry Curve 9300 for repairs to MTN High Street, Worcester (Masjienburo). I was assisted by a female consultant. She completed the necessary documents and I stated what the problems with my handset was. My complaints were as follow:
1) Phone freezes
2) Battery swollen
3) Shuts down on its own, at anytime
4) Scroller faulty
On Wednesday, 10/07/2013, a consultant from the repair centre contacted me and told me my handset had physical damage and can not be repaired under warranty. I rejected the quote and the phone was sent back. When i received the phone back, there was a document called Handset Exchange Authorization and all the signatures are there. It is a legal document, so why did i not receive a new handset? the document also clearly states that my handset has no liquid nor physical damage. NOW NOBODY CAN ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS. I AM RECEIVING VERY POOR SERVICE FROM THE MTN REPAIR CENTRE. I AM NOT GOING TO SEND THE PHONE FOR A 2ND OPINION. I DEMAND A NEW PHONE BECAUSE I HAVE A LEGAL DOCUMENT.
