Mobile repairs not covered

I am the owner of a Blackberry 9320. Mtn top up contract. My handset has been giving me endless software issues. The handset loops constantly. I start it up it goes to my home screen and as soon as I switch on the mobile operator option to receive signal from my service provider the handset resets and starts its loop over and over again. So I take the handset to the Mtn walk in store at the Glen. The consultant named Dorothy assists me, I inform her of the problem and she tells me to come back after an hour, she will see if it can be sorted out in the store. 2 hours later I come back and she informs me that it cannot be repaired and has to be booked in. A few days later I get a message stating that it will cost R1187 to repair my phone due to physical damage. I call the repair centre, they tell me it has a major crack on it. But that phone never had a crack on it when I gave it in! I am then told Sarah Naidoo will contact me to discuss the matter. she has not called till today... I then received a call from Alison Pearson saying no repair will be done because Mtn does not cover physical damage. I WILL NEVER TAKE AN MTN CONTRACT EVER AGAIN. I AM APPALLED AND FURIOUS!
