We have contacted the MTN Branch in Alberton for an upgrade and have been told that we are still being charged the normal contract premium when the contract supposed to have ended in June.
They have given us misleading information and told us that if we didn't personally come through to cancel the contract after the 24 months than we are still going to be charged for the mobile and the contract stays open???
This makes no sense at all, that's what contracts are there for, so there's a limited time frame to receive data and pay off the purchased mobile phone which becomes free after 24 months when the contract ends.
They then go ahead and debit us for R338, when the premium is currently R279..I don't understand, what do these guys at mtn do if they can't keep record of contracts correctly and debit correctly..
