I opened a cell phone contract with vodacom in 2011, When i called vodacom cancellations this past June to confirm my contract cancellations they responded by telling me it can't be closed due to . they verified that the used my account for an upgrade to a Blackberry Z10 AND a galaxy Note. Why they didn't confirm the identity for the upgrade and the telephone number remains a mystery to me. Vodacom never even notified me that this was happening. I proceeded to contact vodacom, who hasn't bothered to do much investigating on this matter, they told me I must get an affidavit from the police stating that someone committed with my identity. I asked vodacom to cancel my contract with them whereas they responded by saying that i may go and reverse the money debited from my bank account, which i did. A few days past and i heard nothing from vodacom and nothing about the cancellation, until finally vodacom called just to tell me i owe them money for the current account still active, the very contract i asked them to close because of the!!! now they still want the outstanding money that i have reversed. Please vodacom, start offering proper service.
