I had a contract for R500/month which was due to expire and received notification from 8ta that I was due for upgrade. In Feb 2013, I signed an upgrade contract to be effective march 2013. The new contract was a sim card only contract at R295/month since i did not need a handset.
To date, August 2013, R500 is still debited, as if I received a new handset.
Actions taken to date since March includes:
1) going to the Sandton office and presenting the contract
2) Sandton logging the query
3) Calling helpline to be told there is no case logged, i must go back to Sandton
4) Sandton claiming that head office closes unresolved cases.
5) Sandton requesting contract to be emailed to them (Assistant Manager) and hard copy of certified bank statement to proof that money was debited. I complied with all and still no resolution.
Repeat steps 1, 2, 3 and 4 monthly.
This is an audit issue. There has been other customers with same issue. Store and Head office blame each.
I have all paper trail and voice recordings with 081 180 but with all the evidence - NOTHING GET RESOLVED.
Sandton Manager always in meeting. This breach of contract means nothing to them, just common. Ready to sue. what else???
