Paying for unusable account

I had the unfortunate accident of purchasing a contract through Vodacom shop in Galleria. My cellphone was two months after I got it. The phone was blocked, and I got sent a new sim card. Since trying to go to the shop repeatedly since Nov2012 to get it activated again, I have not been able to use my sim, yet pay a hefty debit order without getting a service.

I was also told that if I pay my contract for a couple of months that they will be maybe able to help me out with a phone. That was 9 months ago!

So now I am paying on a contract where my sim is blocked for nine months making it unusable, I had to switch to a pre-paid sim card for this duration.

Very sad that there are a lot of promises of future help, and paying for a service for so long without being able to use the network!
