Contract flawed on inception

A year ago I took out a laptop, modem and cell phone contract for R229- at the Vodacom shop next to Game in Eastgate and the sales rep Roy told me that I can only cap the data usage after 3 months. This was either a blatant or utter incompetence. It resulted in me having a run-away bill of R1333- instead of R229-! Vodacom refused to take responsibility and insisted that I pay the run-away bill at R2- per mB!!! When I explained to them that my contract was flawed at inception, they said I should renegotiate my contract with Vodacom Direct. But it has been impossible for me to get through to them. Despite promises they never phoned me back. Eventually they blocked my sim card and forced me to get a prepaid sim card and buy my own data bundles. I therefore continued paying R180- per month instead of R229- as the 100mb included in the contract was no longer available to me. Then Vodacom forced me to settle my contract in full by handing me over to VVM, their debt collectors. Up to this day Vodacom has not resolved my initial complaint of a run-away bill due to the misinformation by Roy. On top of that Vodacom has still not reimbursed me the R720- that I overpaid them!
