Wait 6 Months for a new Contract???

Good day,

After Cancelling my Contract yesterday and almost paying R3000 to have it cancelled because I lost my phone and I want to get a new Contract Instead of buying a phone, Vodacom told me that I have to wait 6 Months to use my old number for a new Contract. That is the most absurd thing I have heard in a long time, so thank you Vodacom for your time, but your are losing a Client (That is if you care about losing one Client), I am porting to another Network. Instead of making money out of me getting another contact you rather choose to loose a client than to keep one, nice Work Vodacom!!
