After receiving a call from Csurance that my phone is at Menlyn branch and ready for collection, I then proceeded to the branch where I was welcomed with a smile by Rose Oreefe. She asked how she may assist me, I replied by notifying her that I was collecting a phone. At the time she had a black laptop open on her desk and looked very distracted by whatever she was busy with. She then headed to the backroom for roughly 2 mins on her return she politely mentioned "Sorry Sir but your phone hasn't arrived yet, the insurance always do this, but I will call you when it's here". She had my ID document yet nothing was inputted into the system to verify. On the 14th the next day at roughly the same time as the day before, I received excellent and speedy service from George Maphothoma a consultant that goes the extra mile. I then requested for a copy of the delivery note which clearly displays the date of receipt of my phone as 12/08/13 at 11:35 and signed by Riaan.
The outright with a smile of this consultant utter disgusted me, what incompetence. Yet the process took roughly only 15mins when I was assisted by George, I suspect Rose was just lazy and focusing on her laptop.
