I have a blackberry and for the last 6 months I have not been able to download songs onto my phone, when I queried this I was told that MTN no longer allow blackberry users to download songs or videos onto their phones, I pay my contract every month and my BIS every month, yet most of my service has been taken away.
Data is a free side product of a cellphone tower, yet we get charged a fortune for data in this country and even when you pay you get restricted.
I have come to realise that MTN is definitley NOT the better connection, I cant wait for my contract to end so that I can go over to Vodacom!!!
My contract is through Altech Autopage who yesterday confirmed that MTN had blocked blackberry phones from downloading songs and videos.
