I have been a loyal customer of MTN for years. Initially my contract was opened up in my brother's name but paid for by me. As a result every time I upgrade or make changes he has to accompany me. For the last 2 upgrades, I have requested to change the details into my name, and every time am told the process is complicated or unsuccessful (by mtn staff). The last two upgrades have been amnightmare. Last time, the staff treatment and lack of professionalism at the Northgate branch left me cold. This time I selected Randridge mall in the hopes that a smaller, more intimate store would offer better seevice. After trying on the pc, the saleslady reaorted to the phone as there was a problem with the system, i was later informed that the upgrade was approved but not the migration, i was told that I could return on the 11th of August to repeat the process and that if they forced the system I would be blocked from upgrading for 3months. My upgrade was due on 1.08.13. The saleslady cant explain why the system won't allow me to migrate. To have to wait an additional week or 3months is unacceptable for a "system"problem. No alternatives are made available and it quite clearly is my problem
