Upgrading and EXTREMELY IRRITATED

This remains a continuous problem for me, thank goodness I only upgrade every 2 years.
I went on the waiting list for the new iPhone 5S. I got a call this morning from the online upgrade department to process my upgrade. The system however kicked out the upgrade as I'm only due for my next upgrade on 1 Dec 2013. Given that 1 Dec is about 2 weeks away, I asked if I could get an early upgrade. In addition, there may not be any iPhone 5S's available by 1 December as it launches tomorrow in SA so I'd prefer to secure it now. The consultant then said I need to contact the upgrade call centre on 082 1959 as only they can approve an early upgrade. I'm in the UK at the moment and roaming calls costs more. After waiting 10mins eventually someone answered, only to be told that they can't do anything until tomorrow and that in fact a supervisor on the online call centre should approve the early upgrade. I'm frustrated with the lack of competency of your staff, and that their incompetency cost me international roaming rates, which you Vodacom will bill me. Upgrading a 13 year loyal Vodacom customer should be pleasant, instead I continue to be irritated with the service.
