I applied for a business line 3 weeks ago at the Telkom branch in Bayside Cape Town. I was reassured that the line would be installed 2 weeks as my business was to begin on the 1 August. Alas, what is the date today?
I have had NO communication and when i call into the call centre i am told that apparently there are no available numbers on the parklands ext range i.e. 021 556 / 021 557 to assign to us!!!!! HOW DO YOU RUN OUT OF NUMBERS TELKOM. And why on application was i not informed of this. instead i was reassured that the line would be installed on time.
I have had roughly 6 calls with the call centre over the past 3 days, all of which said that they would escalate my query. The last lady i spoke to today said that NO ONE had yet escalated my query. PATHETIC excuse for service Telkom. I now have an escalation ref# : AI2013363. I was also informed that the escalation team would contact me within 4 hrs. NO ONE has called.
My business cannot operate without a line. This needs to be installed yesterday!!!! Please sort out this shocking service....
