There is no reception of any kind of Cell C in Westonaria for more than a week now. I phoned customer care and they indicated a few tests that I can run. No go. Customer care then advised me to do a sim swap and I had to travel to Randfontein to do the swap. As I switched the Mobile on in Randfontein there was reception, the Cell C outlet was in anyway closed due to a power outage in Randfontein. Back in Westonaria there was again no reception Customer Care now said that they are aware of the problem and that they are working on it. A week later I send Cell c an E-mail complaining that there is still no reception or feedback. I received the standard "no reply" answer indicating that Cell C did receive my E mail. Since then nothing...
I requested Cell C to cancel my contract and they are willing to do it if I pay a "penalty" of R1920.00. This is not the solution as my account is more or less R400. per month.
