Vodacom Blackberry Multiple Repairs

I bought a Blackberry curve for my daughter about a year. We have endless problems with it.

The battery keeps on dying. We have taken the phone into Vodacom Greenpoint about 6 times now.
The phone has been replaced with a new one several times but it has not worked.

Thi is a huge Inconvenience as we have to take the phone about every 2 months. The other issue is that we lose the data everytime the phone dies. We never purchase another Backberry again.
